So, my dad and I were talking last night about the 4th of July holiday. I am off work tomorrow for the holiday. Tomorrow... Wednesday... I don't like it at all. I wish that we could just work today then take either this past Monday or this coming Friday off work. Why did our founding fathers declare independence on the 4th of July. Why not on the first Monday of the month of July??? That would make it a whole lot easier. I mean, we go to work Monday and Tuesday, take Wednesday off, then go back for Thursday and Friday. It's such a tease of a holiday. I'm not dissing the 4th because I think it really is a grand holiday. I'm just not too happy with the timing of it all!! You can't go on a vacation or even just rejoice in the fact that you get a three day weekend. I know that I'm not the only one in the world that thinks that!!! Anyways, it's just something that was going through my head last night and I thought I would share.
