So, Shane and I went to my Aunt Robin and Uncle Andy’s house yesterday for a 4th of July/Charlotte’s birthday cookout. Also there were my Gran, Charlotte, and her friend Kristen and Kristen’s fiancé. Great food, great company… what more could a girl ask for?? We played a game called Apples to Apples after dinner which (while strange) was actually quite fun. If you have not heard of it, I highly recommend checking it out. Even Shane liked it, and he is not a huge fan of word games or anything.
After the dinner, Shane and I went and sang karaoke (our Wednesday night tradition) and (get this) played cards at the bar. It’s another game I would definitely recommend, Fluxx. The game has no set rules. You kind of just change them as you go, and when we play, usually lunacy follows!!
All in all, it was a fun 4th of July holiday.
